Hired a van from Astley Hire yesterday, friendly service, will defo use in the future when I need a van. Thanks for being patient when we didn't get back before the drop off time. I'm sure many other van hire companies wouldn't have been as understanding. Thanks again.
Steve is the guy you need to speak with. He was very understanding. We had trouble with our moving date on a regular basis. He was very helpful and understanding. He's been though it himself. Great van and a great price. I'd highly recommend!

I could not recommend Astley Van hire enough! We rented a van to move house last Friday. After being let down by our buyers solicitor at the very last minute Steve (the owner) did us a really big favour and kept our belongings secure for us over the weekend. Not only was the van very reasonably priced, clean and well looked after. Steve went above and beyond for us, making what was a very stressful situation a lot more manageable. We couldn't be more grateful for Astley Van hire and we wouldn't hesitate to use them again! Thanks Steve!
I could not recommend this business more to anyone looking to hire a van. We initially hired a van to move house on 20/8 at very short notice. This was not a problem and Steve (the owner) sorted us out with the van we needed at a great price and with efficient service when Enterprise and others had no availability. On the Friday our conveyancing was disrupted meaning that completion for our sale and purchase was delayed until the Monday, meaning we had nowhere to store our goods over the weekend. This is where it paid to use this company as Steve couldn't do enough to help our situation, arranging continued hire through to the Monday (again at very short notice) at an excellent price which gave us the reassurance that we could keep our personal belongings safe over the weekend. Failing to complete on the Friday caused us so much worry but this company took one of the biggest worries away and we are so grateful to have used them and when we need to hire a van in future, there wouldn't be anyone else I would go to. Please do not hesitate to use this business as they are local, efficient, well run and well priced. However, what is most important is that they care about their customers and whilst some may see it as 'only' hiring a van, the way Steve showed understanding and empathy for our situation with a willingness to do what he feasibly could do to help is something that we have so much gratitude for. Cannot thank the owner of Astley van hire enough. I moved home in late December and thanks to the usual incompetence of solicitors, things could not have gone any worse. After loading and unloading the van because the move did not happen I phoned Steve to say I was going to be late and if he could arrange for me to have the van for the day after. Unfortunately it was booked out but unbelievably he travelled to pick up one that was due to be off hired at midnight. I arrived first thing to pick up the vehicle and he was there cleaning it out with his wife. Once again the solicitors almost wrecked the move and I had to phone Steve to say the van would be returned late. He was so understanding and to be honest it was the only process that went smoothly. I finally got the van back to him at nearly 10pm. What an unbelievable guy and I cannot recommend him enough. Thanks for making my move that little bit easier.

Needed a van on a Sunday and enterprise rent a car were closed. Gave these guys a try and honestly glad I did. No fuss, honest business that's run by friendly genuine people. Will 100% use again in future. Made common sense and reasonable adjustments to accommodate an unexpected delay with no penalties allowing me to continue on my project without additional stress.
Absolutely amazing service from start to finish. I stumbled across Astley Van Hire in a desperate search for a van 24 hours before i was due to move house. The gentleman was so helpful, understanding and flexible. He completely saved the day for our house move. The price, the service and the overall experience was much better than some of the larger well branded van hire companies. We would definitely use again!

Very friendly and reliable service. Steve was a great help and very accommodating - We had issues with our house sale meaning we needed to keep the van over night. One phone call to Steve and he was very understanding and allowed us to keep it at a small cost. Highly recommend and, should I be needing a van in the future, will contacting Astley Van Hire before any of the major hire companies.
